Chevrolet Utility →
Taking over from the Opel Corsa Utility in 2011, the PE-built Utility ran 1.4 and 1.8 petrol engines and was often the best-selling half-ton bakkie in the country. Fleets and small businesses bought them in volume and the used market still absorbs them readily. By the end its only direct rival was the Nissan NP200.

Nissan NP200 →
Based on an old Dacia Logan platform, the NP200 was SA's last half-ton bakkie when Rosslyn production ended in March 2024. Fleets and small businesses bought more than 1,000 units a month for years. Used values hold up well because nothing directly replaced it.
