Common questions

Which holds value better, the Changan CS75 Pro or the Jetour X70 Plus?

They are close to inseparable: 56% vs 56% retained after three years. Buy on price, spec and the deal you can get, not on resale.

Which is cheaper to own over three years?

Depreciation is the biggest ownership cost. The Changan CS75 Pro loses about R 187 007 over three years and the Jetour X70 Plus loses about R 197 882. Fuel, insurance and servicing can narrow or widen that, but the depreciation gap is the number to start from.

What do they cost per month?

On typical finance (10% deposit, 72 months, 11.75%), the Changan CS75 Pro runs about R 7 514 per month and the Jetour X70 Plus about R 7 951, before fees and insurance.
