Bentley Bentayga

The Bentayga became Bentley's volume model in South Africa soon after its 2016 launch, briefly including a diesel version. Current pricing runs from about R4.5 million for the V8 to nearly R7 million for the long-wheelbase Mulliner. Plenty of used stock exists and early W12 cars have shed more than half their value.

Land Rover Range Rover

The full-size Range Rover has been the default statement SUV in South Africa for decades, now starting above R3 million. Waiting lists formed for the current generation, but like all flagships it sheds value quickly once the warranty clock starts. Long-wheelbase and V8 derivatives dominate local orders.

What do they cost per month?

On typical finance (10% deposit, 72 months, 11.75%), the Bentley Bentayga runs about R 79 474 per month and the Land Rover Range Rover about R 57 534, before fees and insurance.
