The Micra arrived in SA in 2004 with the bubble-shaped K12 and lasted until August 2022, when slow sales of the Polo-rivalling fifth generation ended an 18-year run. In between, the cheap Indian-built Micra Active kept the badge alive as a budget option. Used examples are plentiful and inexpensive to run, though resale values are modest.
